This is the first photograph of me in snow. It was December 2007 and one day I pawed at Johnny's leg so he would get up and let me out so I could have a pee against the clothes airer (which, in all honesty, should have been put away in the shed for the winter). As I was out there, having my early evening's piddle, a big fat white thing landed on my nose and it was very cold! Before I knew it, this white stuff was falling everywhere and I snapped at it, trying to eat as much of it as possible. Johnny was laughing at me from the door way and he was shouting at Lou to come see my 'antics'. There was nothing antic about this though, this was serious stuff.
It was too much, the white stuff, that I heard Lou call 'itssnowing' was on the flowers, on the path and on me, making me wet and cold.
I ran back in the house, gave my coat a shake as near to Johnny as possible then sat down by the back door and watched it for ages, until I got hungry and needed to eat.
The next day the world was white. Those big growling things were sliding everywhere and banging into each other. People were falling over and breaking legs and arms. I was pulling at Johnny as he took me on a walk. He fell over twice and said 'biscuityourtryingtokillmeonpurpose' which isn't that far from the truth. Get rid of him and I have Lou all to myself.
I love snow now. I go mental in it. I run and chase in it, roll over in it, dig in it and my poo looks a spectacular colour against such a white background. Cannot WAIT for winter!
Woof,
El Biccerino.
